CARMELLA L. Carmella L. Cinaglia is an associate in the firm’s Workers’ Compensation Department. Before joining the firm, Carmella spent her time working at her family’s business, a local flower shop here in Wilmington since 1900. Carmella started her legal career at Delaware County District Attorney’s Office (Pre-Trial Division). She then graduated college early and worked full time for both the Philadelphia District Attorney’s Office (Sex Crimes and Family Violence Division) and Delaware Office of the Attorney General (Criminal Division). In law school, she worked for a private criminal defense attorney in Pennsylvania. She then clerked for Heckler and Frabizzio for two years prior to becoming an Associate.
While in law school, Carmella worked for the Delaware Civil Law Clinic representing victims of domestic violence. She received multiple awards for her pro bono public service helping Delaware victims, including Delaware Law School’s Domestic Violence Fellowship Award, Philadelphia Bar Association’s Outstanding Student Service Award, the Edmond Dobrowolski Memorial Award and the Christine McDermott Memorial Award.
Outside of work, Carmella enjoys cooking new meals, weightlifting, mindfulness practices, and having board game nights with family and friends.
