Heather McKee is an associate in the firm’s Workers’ Compensation Department. Before joining the firm, Heather worked full time for the Division of Family Services (APPLA Unit) with children in Foster Care that had been abused, neglected, and left dependent all while attending Widener University Delaware Law School’s night division program. Prior to her stint at the Division of Family Services, Heather worked as a full-time paralegal for a commercial real estate and land use firm in New Castle County. Heather graduated law school early in December 2022 and started her career with Heckler & Frabizzio as a law clerk that same year.
While in law school, Heather interned for the Innocence Project Delaware assisting the Project in helping convicted persons achieve freedom from wrongful convictions. Heather continues to work with the Innocence Project as a volunteer helping draft the Project’s investigative reports and providing feedback to the Director of Intake and Investigations.
Outside of work, Heather enjoys spending time with family, including her cats and Doberman mix, exercising, traveling, trying out new restaurants, and spending time with friends.
